We have expert team members to assist you in appointment scheduling, financial and insurance concerns as well as all the clinical aspects of periodontal and implant treatment.

Dr. Mata’s commitment to patient care is shared by the entire team. Our dental hygienist and assistant have special training for the needs of periodontal and dental implant patients. Our administrative team members will make sure you are fully informed of what to expect at each visit. Our entire team is focused on making you feel comfortable.

Appointment/Financial Administrator – Susan Brown

Susan has been in the dental field for 19 years. She has worked both front and back office, and now considers herself to be a specialist when it comes to insurance, billing, and treatment coordinating for patients. She has taken various courses in dental billing, implants, sedation, legalities of dentistry, and first aid. Susan loves the field of dentistry and the satisfaction it gives you to see a patient get out of pain, be it physical or emotional, due to a dislike for their smile.

Susan is a mother of 5 with 2 stepsons, 5 spouses, and 7 grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, Ron, working on projects around the house or going on mini-vacations. She finds great joy in being with her grandchildren. Susan also has 3 cats, 4 dogs, and a turtle in her home.

Joan Russell

Joan Russell joined Dr. Mata’s staff in 2005. She has worked front office in the Periodontal/ Dental Profession for the last 12 years and enjoys meeting new patients and assisting with all patients’ needs.

Joan has been married to her husband for 44 years and has three grown children who’s families take up most of her spare time.

Ilianna Mojica

Ilianna Mojica has called Dentistry her passion for the last 16 years. She loves to educate patients on their dental health and make their dental experience an exceptionally positive one.

When she is not at work she likes to spend her time working out with her husband also known as her High School sweetheart and meal prepping for her family. She also spends lots of time on the soccer field cheering her daughters Brianna and Samantha on.
